Baked Acorn Squash

Notes: 

Perfect for the Fall or Thankksgiving. Serves 2-4

Ingredients: 

•One Whole Acorn Squash (cut in half)
•2 TBSPs of Butter
•2 TBSPs of Brown Sugar
•2 TSPs of Maple Syrup
•2 TSP of Nutmeg
•2 TSP of Cinnamon
•Dash of Salt
•Optional: Crushed Walnuts


  1. Set oven for 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut Acorn Squash in Half. Scoop out seeds
  3. Score sides with knife. 
  4. Put 1 TBSP of butter in each side of the squash, 1 TBSP of brown sugar in each side, 1 TSP of maple syrup in each side, 1 tsp of nutmeg in each side, 1 tsp of cinnamon, and finish off with a dash of salt.
  5. Put a little water in a baking pan or dish, then place acorns in dish. 
  6. Cook at 400 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.   Serves 2-4.
