Beef Brisket

Probably my favorite bbq meat. It takes a lot of work but it's worth it!

Ingredients: 

Use our butt rub recipe found under spices.
1/2 a beef brisket apox 8 pounds


Take 1/2 brisket apox. 7 pounds and trim the fat to more than 1".

Rub generously with our butt rub spice mix onto the meat.

Wrap in aluminium foil and marinate in refrigerator 4 hours or over night for best results.

Sear over medium heat for about 10 minutes per side.

Cook over indirect heat at 250-275 f for. 1 1/2 hours per pound, aprox. 8 hours total until internal temp reached 200 degrees.

Rest for aprox 20 minutes before cutting.
