2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons shortening
1 cup chilled buttermilk

450 preheated oven 15-20 minutes
Combine flour, baking powder, baling soda, & salt
With fingers rub in the butter & shortening, working quickly so butter and shortening do not get warm
Rub in until dough is a crumb texture
Make a well in the dry ingredients and add chilled buttermilk until JUST mixed (dough will be sticky)
Turn onto floured surface
Dust dough with flour and fold dough over itself 5-6 times
Make a 1 inch thick round
Cut biscuits with a 2 inch cutter place on sheet just touching each other
Bake for 15-20 minutes
