Black bottom pumpkin pie

Pie dough for one 9″ pie crust
1/2 cup heavy cream
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
2 cups pumpkin purée, homemade and strained
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 egg yolk
4 ounces softened cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
8-10 whole pecans
