Braised lamb shoulder

Ingredients: 

Lamb shoulder
garlic
onions
carrots
celery
red wine
chicken stock
demiglace
thyme
salt
pepper


  1. Sear off lamb shoulder on stove top
  2. Remove lamb from pan into oven-safe braising dish
  3. Add garlic, onions, carrots, celery to pan in which lamb was seared.  Cook down.
  4. Add red wine, chicken stock and demiglace to deglaze the pan.  Add spices as desired.
  5. Pour braising liquid over lamb and cook in oven at 250-300 F for 1.5-2 hours, or until meat is falling off the bone.

This looks delicious. I made braised beef short ribs once. I bet you lamb is better.
