4 c frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
8 oz bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 c (4 oz) shredded cheese
1 can (12 fl oz) nestle carnation evaporated milk
1 large egg lightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp salt
Preheat 350• grease 8 in dish
Layer 1/2 potatoes, 1/2 bacon, and 1/2 cheese in dish, repeat layers. Combine milk, egg, and salt in small bowl. Pour evenly over potatoes.
Bake for 55-60 min. Uncover, bake for additional 5 min. Let stand for 10-15 min before serving.
