Buttermilk Biscuits

Notes: 

Absolutely delicious We used our own homemade butter, homemade butter milk and topped off with homemade jam. We made them a funky square shape, just for fun. Our grandparents would be proud.

Ingredients: 

2 cups (250 grams) all-purpose flour, spooned & leveled
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons (85 grams) cold unsalted butter, cubed
3/4 cup (180 ml) cold buttermilk, plus more for the tops of the biscuits
