1 head green cabbage, in 1 inch x 1 inch x 3 inch pieces
1/2 cup canola oil
1 tsp asafoetida
1 Tbsp + 1 tsp black mustard seeds
1 1/2 cups plain yogurt, stirred
1 Tbsp salt
1 Tbsp ground cumin
1 tsp turmeric
1 Tbsp ground coriander
