Cheesy Cornbread Soup

A quick recipe we enjoy, especially on a cold winter night! Extra nice served with a fruit salad and good crusty bread.

Ingredients: 

1 c. onion, chopped
6 T. butter
8-1/2 oz. pkg. cornbread mix
2 14-1/2 oz. cans chicken broth
2 14-3/4 oz. cans creamed corn
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 c. whipping cream
Garnish: additional shredded Cheddar cheese
