Clam chowder

Ingredients: 

3 cans of clams
Cooked bacon crumbled
2 medium potatoes
Sliced mushrooms
500 ml cream
1/2 L milk
1/2 onion
2 cloves garlic
Garlic powder
Salt
Pepper


Cube potatoes and boil until tender
In a large pot add clams and Juice and bring to med temp.
Dice onion, garlic and add to pot
Add in potatoes and bacon and sliced mushrooms

In a separate pot bring milk and cream slowly to a boil then add to clam mix. (Try just using milk for a healthier choice or all cream for a richer chowder)

Add salt pepper and garlic powder to taste

Let simmer for 10 -15 mins before serving
