Custard Pie

Ingredients: 

2 eggs
4 T sugar
pinch salt
2 C scalded milk
1/4 t vanilla
1/2 t nutmeg


  1. Beat eggs lightly
  2. Add sugar, salt, milk and vanilla
  3. Pour in pie shell
  4. Sprinkle on nutmeg
  5. Bake at 425* for 12 minutes
  6. Reduce to 300* for 25 minutes
