CYNDI'S HOT SAUCE

My friend Cyndi made this hot sauce all the time. My version is for gringos/gringas. Add more jalapenos to make it spicier.

Ingredients: 

1 large can whole tomatoes
1 - 2 large jalapenos
garlic salt and salt to taste


  1. Place tomatoes in a blender with garlic and salt – pulse to mix……
  2. Wash peppers – cut off tops but leave whole.
  3. Place in a saucepan and cover with water. Cook for 10 – 15 minutes until softened.
  4. Drain peppers thoroughly. (poke holes in skin of pepper to ensure all water is out) then add to tomatoe mixture and pulse to blend thoroughly.
  5. Add to tomato mixture and blend thoroughly.
  6. Store insealed container in fridge.
