2/3 cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cups (1 1/2 sticks)unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
1 1/4 cups packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
3/4 cup (4.5 oz) good-quality bittersweet (dark) chocolate morsels or chopped chocolate pieces
1 cup walnuts coarsely chopped
