Note: to bake in conventional oven; preheat oven to 325F and bake for 50-55 minutes or wooden pick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.

1/4 C sliced almonds
3 eggs
1 container (16 oz) sour cream
1 pkg (18.25 oz) devil’s food cake mix
1 C miniature semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided
2 tsp cinnamon, divided
1 T sugar
1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
