Dill Pickle Soup

Ingredients: 

7 c cubed peeled potatoes
4 c chicken broth
1 c water
2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped celery
1/2 c chopped carrot
1/4 c butter
2 t salt
1/4 t pepper
2 T dried dill weed

12 oz evaporated milk
2 c dill pickle juice


Cook first 10 ingredients in crock pot on high until tender (4-5 hrs). Stir in warm milk and pickle juice to taste; heat. Blend with immersion blender to thicken as desired.
