3 tablespoons oil

step 1. Firstly, adding all-purpose flour is optional. But all-purpose flour gives a smooth texture and white color in puri as compared to whole wheat puri.
step 2. Additionally, you can add sesame seeds and cumin seeds along with carom seeds. Moreover, you can add ghee instead of oil for a healthier version of puri. Furthermore, mark on puri with a fork or any other thing is important else puri may puff up during frying
