1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 ccups flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 F
Grease and flour two cookie sheets
In a large bowl blend sugars, butter, eggs and vanilla
Add flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt
Mix well until dough forms
Stir in chocolate chips (and walnuts)
Form into cookies annd place them on the cookie sheets
bake for 8-10 mins
Let them cool for 1 minute
Let cool completely before storing
