Eggless Milkless Buterless Cake

Ingredients: 

1 1/2 C B sugar packed
1 1/2 C water
1 1/2 C raisins
1/3 then 1/2 of 1/3 C lard
1 1/2 t cinnamon
3/4 t nutmeg
3 T cocoa
1 1/2 t soda
3 t boiling water
2 1/4 C flour

  1. Boil for 5 minutes sugar, water, raisins, 1/3 then 1/2 of  1/3 lard, cinnamon, nutmeg and cocoa
  2. Cool to luke warm
  3. Dissolve soda in boiling water
  4. Add to above
  5. Add flour and stir good
  6. Bake at 375* in greased and floured pan for 35 to 40 minutes
  7.
