Kabob sticks
1. The kebobs need to be made the day of the party so they don't deteriorate, allowing enough time to cut up the fruit. Wash and dry the fruit as needed. Cut into one-inch pieces. Make sure that fragile fruit such as kiwi and papaya are cut into thick enough pieces so they stay on the sticks.
2. Figure out a pattern for your sticks such as melon-grape-strawberry, repeat, etc. Put the fruit on the sticks in that order, leaving room on each end for handling. Cut the limes into wedges.
3. Lay the sticks on a round platter so the ends are around the edge of the circle. Place the lime wedges around the outside of the platter. Place a flower in the middle of the platter if you have one. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving time.
