Ingredients: 

1 small bundle glass vermicelli (mung bean threads)
1 (about 1lb/450g) fuzzy melon (节瓜) or (毛瓜)
5 tbsp canola oil
2 dried beancurd sheets
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ lb (225g) shrimp, shelled and deveined
½ cup (120ml) water
2 tbsp soy sauce
Salt
