Garlic-Parmesan Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients: 

3 lbs russet baking potatoes, partially peeled and cut into large chunks
4-6 garlic cloves, peeled
3/4 c warm milk
1/2 c softened butter
salt, pepper
2/3 c parmesan cheese, grated


  1. Cook potatoes and garlic in boiling water until tender (15-20+ min)
  2. Drain, mash, add milk, butter, salt and pepper
  3. Stir in parmesan or cheddar cheese
