1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1/2 cup cherry or grape tomatoes, halved (quartered if large)
1 (1 pound) package potato gnocchi
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup fresh basil, thinly sliced
1/2 - 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat.
Simmer for 3-4 minutes, until butter turns golden brown, then stir in tomatoes.
Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 2-3 minutes, just until tomatoes soften slightly.
Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook gnocchi according to package instructions.
Just before draining, add peas.
Drain gnocchi and peas.
In a large serving bowl, toss hot gnocchi with butter, tomatoes, basil and Parmesan.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
