2 cups oats
2 cups barley
1 cup quinoa flakes
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup chopped almonds
Vanilla extract to taste
¼ cup maple syrup
¾ cup apple cider
Dried fruit
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Mix the flakes, quinoa, spices, and almonds together, then add the vanilla, juice, and honey. Toss well to moisten evenly, then toast on a sheet pan until browned, about 30 minutes, stirring a few times. Add the dried fruit once the cereal is cooked.
