Green chutney

Ingredients: 

dhanya patta
lasan
salt
full jeera
green chillies
roasted peanuts
curd/water
lemon (optional)


  1. Take a bunch of dhanya patta, washed well, roughly chopped
  2. 5-6 lasan kali, pinch of salt, half tsp full jeera, 1-3 green chillies (according to how spicy you want and depending on size of the chillies), 2-3 tbsp roasted chinabadaam
  3. Grind all well together
  4. May add little water accordingly for easy grinding or can add 1-2 tbsp of curd instead
  5. But add water or curd judiciously or chutney will be too thin
  6. After chutney is made, check for salt and add more if required
  7. Squeeze juice of half a lemon if you want it a bit tangy
