Ground Beef Jerky

Notes: 

Substitute Buffalo

Ingredients: 

1.5 to 2 pounds extra lean ground beef
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 clove garlic (crushed)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1.5 tablespoons brown sugar


  1. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl
  2. Add meat, use hands to mix until evenly distributed throughout
  3. Place in a zip-lock bag & refrigerate ~ 24 hours
  4. Put in dehydrator in 1/8" thick strips at 140 F until dry
