Here is one review:
I made this twice. The first time I followed the recipe, the second time I made a few changes (nothing major). I seasoned the meat with Italian seasoning and onions. I also added maybe a teaspoon of garlic salt and more Italian seasoning to the Bisquick mixture. I didn't officially measure the seasonings, just "seasoned to taste". I also used both ricotta and cottage cheese. Ricotta was the base and I spooned the cottage cheese on top of the sauce mixture. My husband and I enjoyed both versions but we liked the second more than the first.
Here's another:
This was easy and good. I did however adjust a few things. I chopped up some yellow onion and sautéed it with my beef as well as seasoned it with garlic salt and Italian seasoning. I also used 1.5 lbs of beef so I adjusted the rest of the ingredients - more ricotta and sauce. I slightly swirled the stuff together then made small wells so when I poured the Bisquick over it it would swirl through it all. I then baked at 375 for about 40 min and added the remaining mozzarella cheese the last 5 min.
