Layered Vegetable Crockpot Casserole

Ingredients: 

1 (14.5 ounce) can no-salt added tomato sauce

1 tablespoon Italian herb blend

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 large carrot, sliced

1/2 cup frozen corn

1/2 cup frozen peas

4 russet potatoes, sliced

2 large zucchini, sliced

1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (I used a 3-cheese blend of mozzarella, cheddar, and jack)
