Manicotti - Freezer Meal

Ingredients: 

1 (8oz) manicotti shells, uncooked
1 (26oz) pasta sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Manicotti Filling:
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 egg
2 tbsp basil


Combine ingredients for manicotti filling, mix well.   Place a layer of pasta sauce in baking dish. Stuff shells with mixture and layer on top of sauce. Cover with remaining sauce and cheese. Freeze.

To Cook: Thaw in refrigerator for 8 hours. Bake at 400 for 45-60 minutes, uncovering for at least 15 minutes to brown the cheese.
