Ingredients: 

Pastry
2 cups all-purpose flour
11 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 whole egg
1-2 tablespoons ice water
1 egg white, beaten, for pastry cut-outs
Filling
5 eggs, beaten
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup maple syrup
5 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
