Mash Topped Pie

Ingredients: 

Make savoury mince recipe as directed.

800gm peeled chopped potatoes
50gm butter
3/4 cup cream
2 thinly sliced onions


Cook potatoes in boiling salted water for 12 minutes or until soft. Drain. Return to pan with butter & cream. Mash until smooth, press through a sieve into a large bowl. Fold in green onions. Season.

Preheat an oven grill to moderately high. Grease a 1.5 litre (6 cup) ovenproof dish. Spoon savoury mince into dish. Top with mash. Spray with cooking oil. Grill until golden.
