Multi-Flavored Fish Cakes

Ingredients: 

For Basic Fish Mixture:
2 pounds (900 grams) pike, or other white fish
5 teaspoons salt
4 small boiled potatoes
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
2 cups (a little less than ½ liter) cold milk
2 eggs
½ teaspoon finely grated nutmeg
Salt and pepper

For flavoring:
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
1 tablespoon finely chopped thyme
1 tablespoon finely chopped mint
2 spring onion, thinly sliced
1 medium beetroot
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
