Oatmeal Drop Cookies

Ingredients: 

1 1/4 C sugar
1/2 C melted shortening
2 eggs beaten
6 T molasses
1 3/4 C flour
1 t soda
1 t cinnamon
1 t salt
2 C quick oats
1/2 C nuts chopped
1 C seeded raisins or prunes

  1. Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and molasses
  2. Add flour mixture
  3. Mix in oats, nuts and raisins
  4. Drop by teaspoon 2 in apart of slightly greased sheet
  5. Bake at 400* for 8 to 10 minutes
