If using fresh strawberries, mash @ 1 cup and add enough water to make 2 cups (see step 4)

4 Tbsp corn starch
1 c sugar
2 c strawberry juice from thawing & water to make 2 cups
1 - 9 inch prebaked crust
1 - 8 oz cool whip - or make your own whipped cream
