Pasta: Baked Tortellini Casserole

Ingredients: 

2 T olive oil
1 lb lean ground meat
Small yellow onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes, or whole peeled tomatoes crushed by hand
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 pkg (24 oz) fresh cheese tortellini
3 C freshly grated mozzarella cheese
