Phyllis' Sauce with Meatballs

Ingredients: 

Meatballs:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 eggs beaten
2/3 cup Italian bread crumbs
6 Tbs Parmesan romana cheese
2-3 minced garlic cloves

Sauce:
2 Tbs olive oil
2 small onions chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced

1 big can tomato sauce
1 big can tomato purée
1 big can tomato crushed
1 big can Delallos Italian plum tomatoes w/basil (squeeze tomatoes to crush them)
1/3 can water
1 Tbs salt
2-3 Tbs sugar


  1. Put oil, onions and garlic for sauce into pot.  Cook until onion is translucent.
  2. Add remaining sauce ingredients and raw meatballs.
  3. Simmer for 4 hours
