Potato Shrimps

Ingredients: 

2 each large Idaho® russet potatoes, peeled
1 tablespoons chili powder
1/2 tablespoon dry thyme
1 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoons black pepper
Honey (for brushing)
12 each shrimp, peeled and deveined

= SAUCE =
Lime
Chilli
Mayonnaise

  1. Wash and peel potatoes
  2. Cut potatoes on spiral slicer to make shoestrings
  3. Rinse and dry potato strings
  4. Toss with spices and mix well, but gently
  5. Skewer each shrimp on an individual bamboo skewer starting at the tail end
  6. Wrap shrimp with the potato strings and set aside
  7. Brush honey on top of each shrimp
  8. Heat in oven until golden brown
