Rajma(red kidney beans) instapot

Ingredients: 

Red kidney beans
Tomato puree can( large)
Onion
Masalas
Sugar
Ginger garlic paste
Coriander


Pre cook the beans in the InstaPot on a manual 29 minute setting with minimun 2-3 cups of water( the plastic cup that came with Instapot).

Remove the beans from the container.

Add at least 1.5 cup of oil.

Sauted the chopped onions.

Add salt to the onions(makes a diff)

Add all the masalas.

Add ginger/garlic paste.

Add cloves and bay leaf.

Throw in the entire can of tomato puree.

Add the beans.

Add sugar.

 

Add chopped coriander. Add half a chilli. Also some crushed chilli pepper flakes.

Turn Insta setting to 9 minutes.

Allow to cook.
