1 lb ground beef
2 garlic cloves
1 tbs worcetershire sauce
1 cup chicken broth
1 tbs tomato paste
1/2 tsp thyme
1/1 tsp Rosemary
1/2 cup red wine
Mashed potatoes
1 1/2 lb Yukon gold potatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 heavy cream
2 tbs butter
3 tbs Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven 400*. Peel and cube potatoes. Boil 15 min until tender. Drain. Mix in remaining potato ingredients and beat well. Mix in 1 tbs cheese. Set aside.
Brown and drain beef. Add garlic, worcestershire, tomato paste, thyme and Rosemary. Cook for 1 min. Add wine and simmer until wine has almost evaporated. Add broth and simmer 5 min or until sauce has thickened.
Transfer beef to loaf dish. Cover with potatoes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
