3 tablespoons cocoa powder (not Dutch process)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
3/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoons red food coloring
1 1/2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla
