Rich Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients: 

1/2 C lard
1/2 C butter
1 C sugar
1 C B sugar
1 C peanut butter
2 eggs beaten well
3 C flour
1 big t soda
1/2 t salt
1 t vanilla

  1. Cream shortenings and sugar
  2. Add peanut butter
  3. Add eggs
  4. Add dry ingredients and mix well
  5. Shape like wlnut and place 2 inches apart
  6. Press both ways with fork
  7. If too dry add not more the 2 T water
  8. Bake at 350* for 8 to 12 minutes
