Savory Masala for Meat

Makes ¼ cup

Ingredients: 

2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 ½ tablespoons ground coriander
1 ½ tablespoons ground cardamom
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground mace
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg


Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Transfer to an airtight jar and store in a cool dry place.
