Shrimp and Pumpkin Thai Soup Recipe

Ingredients: 

3 teaspoons Thai curry powder
2 yellow onions, diced
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ Serrano chili, seeded
½ teaspoon turmeric
3 teaspoons ground ginger
1 ½ lbs pumpkin, peeled and cut into ½ inch cubes
3 tablespoons fish sauce
2 cups coconut milk
4 cups chicken broth
½ lb green beans, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
2 tablespoons finely minced garlic
2 pieces lemongrass, bruised with a mortar and pestle
1 kaffir lime leaf (optional)
1 ½ lbs medium shrimp, peeled and de-veined
Basil, cut into thin strips, for garnish
Lime wedges, for garnish
