Spicy Pepitas (Pumpkin Seeds)

Yields 2 cups

Ingredients: 

2 cups pepitas
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper; more to taste
½ teaspoon cayenne; more to taste
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground toasted ancho chile or chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lime juice


Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Toss all the ingredients together in a bowl and spread on a baking sheet. Bake, shaking the pan once or twice, until lightly browned, 7 to 10 minutes.
