If you are looking for a recipe that doesnt use corn syrup as a base, this is it. I have been looking for a good pecan pie for my boyfriend, and I found it. He ate the whole thing. This is amazing!!
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening, chilled and diced
3 tablespoons ice water
2 teaspoons butter
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup real maple syrup
1/2 cup white sugar
