110 Gram Self raising flour (4 oz)
Pinch Salt
2 Tablespoon Water
15 Gram Margarine (1/2 oz)
Method
Makes about 16


  1.  
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 °C / 400 °F / Gas 6.   Sieve the flour and salt together in a bowl. Place the water and margarine in a small saucepan. Heat until the margarine has melted then pour into the flour and mix until smooth.    Roll out thinly and cut into 7.5 cm (3 inch) rounds. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and prick lightly with a fork.    Bake for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are crisp and golden. Serve with butter and cheese.           If a slightly richer, but less crisp, biscuit is required, replace the water with 1 tablespoon milk and 1 tablespoon water and the margarine with bu
