Agedashi Tofu

Ingredients: 

1 block (14 oz) silken tofu (soft tofu)
4 Tbsp. potato starch (or corn starch)
Vegetable oil for deep frying
1 cup dashi (use kombu dashi for vegetarian)
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. mirin
1" (2.5 cm) daikon radish
1 green onion/scallion
Katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) (optional, and skip if vegetarian)
Shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven spice) (optional)
