Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds cubed round steak, cut into thin strips
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
All-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package onion soup mix
1 (.87 ounce))package beef gravy mix
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can beef broth
1 cup water
1 (16 ounce) package wide egg noodles

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Sprinkle the steak strips with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and then dust with flour. In a large skillet, quickly brown them on both sides in the olive oil and butter. Remove the steak from the pan. Add mushrooms to the pan drippings. Saute for a few minutes, until tender.
  3. In a 13x9 inch casserole dish, combine the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth and onion soups, beef gravy mix and water. Mix thoroughly and add beef strips and mushrooms. Turn to coat well.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven for 1 hour.
  5. While beef mixture is baking, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Serve beef strips, mushrooms and sauce over noodles.
