Caramel Sauce Recipe

Notes: 

Used 1c white sugar 1/2c brown sugar. Unsure if the sugar didn't caramel enough but was very light colored and light in taste. Good though.

Ingredients: 

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup water
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 vanilla bean or 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
