Carrot Cake

Ingredients: 

2 C sugar
2 C flour
2 t soda
2 t cinnamon
1 t salt
1 C melted shortening
4 eggs
3 C grated carrots

  1. Sift and mix all dry ingredients
  2. Add shortening
  3. Beat well 
  4. Add eggs one at a time beating after each egg
  5. Mix in carrots and blend throughly
  6. Pour into 9" greased and floured pan
  7. Bake at 350* for 35 minutes
  8.
