Coca Cola Cake

Ingredients: 

1 C butter or margarine
1 3/4 C sugar
3 T cocoa
1 t vanilla
2 eggs
1 t soda
1/2 C buttermilk
2 C flour
1 C cola beverage
1 1/2 C miniature marshmallows
Icing
1/2 C butter
3 T cocoa
1/3 Cola beverage
4 C confectioners sugar

  1. Combine all ingredients except cola, cocoa and marshmellows in large mixer bowl
  2. Blend at low speed 
  3. Beat one minute
  4. Add cola and cocoa
  5. Blend well
  6. By hand stir in marshmellows
  7. Pour batter into greased pan
  8. Bake at 350* for 40 to 45 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean
  9. Cool about 30 minutes and spread wih icing
  10. For Icing
  11. Combine in mixer bowl and beat until smooth
